Quatre Mains

You looked at me and said: ‘Come, we will play quatre mains. You and me.'  I was at once surprised and grateful for the suggestion from Arta, my piano teacher. I was struggling so much during that period that I couldn't play the piano on my own. Arta saw it and she took me by the hand with her talent. For weeks, we played quatre mains. I was allowed to rest on her playing until I was strong enough to play alone again.
